The olive oil company
The olive farm Fratelli Fiore has lived through three generations and today has 22 hectares of organic farming located in the north of Bari, precisely in the countryside of Grumo Appula. The most suitable area dates back to a district called “Parco delle Lamie”, from which our extra virgin olive oil has inherited the name.

The Fiore family has taken care of its territory since the seventies, after which among the five children of the first farmer of the family, only Domenico Fiore kept alive the legacy of his father. He worked hard for years in the fields of his land and over time, one plot at a time, he expanded his funds, specializing in pruning and other agronomic techniques.
It is precisely in the countryside that they begin their premature tasks, from simple fruit harvesting to other cultural operations and several years later the same traditions have also welcomed Nathan, the youngest of the brothers.
Following in his father’s footsteps, his sons Giuseppe and Francesco were
catapulted into nature as children and every Sunday they used to go to the fields with their parents. Joseph always kept with him his little “diary of the countryside” and each time he stopped under a majestic secular olive tree to write his notes about the day spent there and the activities carried out, always curious to know more.

Growing up, Francesco and Giuseppe dedicated their summers to work in the fields and then follow both their vocations, opposite and complementary. In
2020 the company was renamed “Fratelli Fiore”, just in reference to the dedication of the two older brothers and the little Nathan, who will follow in
the footsteps of the elders. one day, if he wants. Francesco, after obtaining the qualification of agricultural expert, decided to carry on the dream of the Fiore family to dedicate himself entirely to the company, providing valuable input into the field work and learning more and more about many of the agronomic techniques practiced by his father and grandfather before him.
Giuseppe dedicated himself to field work just as willingly but decided to trace a new path by specializing in university studies. The faculty of Agricultural
Sciences and the subsequent postgraduate in Crop Protection, gave him the opportunity to work a year in California in the Experimental Research Center of the prestigious University of Davis. During his studies he enriched his training with a course of virgin and extra virgin oils taster, where he understood the importance of biodiversity and environmental sustainability in Italy and how important these elements are to obtain a high quality product . It is at this moment that he intuited how the family business could have achieved the best quality of oil possible. So, thanks to the knowledge acquired and driven by the desire to embellish the green treasure of his native land, he returned to Apulia. In 2022, the aim was to produce a quality extra virgin olive oil that stands out for its structure, its scent, its harmony, its aromatic notes and at the same time is an important source of nutraceuticals for the consumer, able to accompany and enrich his every daily meal.
And in 2024 this project comes to life. To date, the trees from which the oil derives have all been manually grafted by Domenico Fiore during the years spent with the “queen” of Apulian oil: the cultivar Coratina.
